Direct Access Scheme & A2
Our Kawasaki ER6n's great handling makes them a great all-rounder to move on to 'Big Bikes'!
At 19, you can train for your A2 licence which follows the same criteria as the full A licence, but on our ER6n restricted motorcycle. Once you have held an A2 licence for two years you can move on to the full unrestricted A licence, known as progressive access.
From the age of 24, you can gain your full unrestricted 'A' licence via the Direct Access Scheme (DAS). To begin training on the larger machines you will require a provisional motorcycle licence and an in date CBT DL196 certificate. You will also be required to pass the theory and hazard perception prior to being able to book any of the DVSA practical assessments. Our training site at Beverley Leisure Centre is large enough to replicate the Module 1 test so you'll be fully prepared!
Each full licence motorcycle course will involve a number of training days relating to your ability followed by two practical tests with the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) which can be booked by us if requested.
Your DAS can be conducted over a series of individual days or a block booking, and training will be provided around you and your ability. Below are guide prices but the amount of training is up to you. Call us to discuss your options and best way forward.
